Saeed Sahal, President & Co-founder
With over four decades of experience across Somalia, Djibouti, and Kenya, Saeed Sahal is a trusted voice in regional governance, diplomacy, and cross-border development. His work spans direct engagement with national governments, IGAD, and local institutions. As President of Policy Forward, Saeed brings deep institutional knowledge and a career-long commitment to advancing equitable systems in the Horn of Africa.
Adam Hassan, Director & Co-founder
Adam is a policy strategist with a deep commitment to civic innovation. A graduate of The Fletcher School at Tufts University, he brings a background in international advocacy, youth engagement, and inclusive governance. As the Director of Policy Forward, Adam leads the organization’s strategic vision, partnerships, and program development; translating bold ideas into grounded policy solutions across East Africa.
